It is fine to say The Ministry Of Labour ordered the Rescue operation stopped because it was too dangerous. When it comes to sacrificing a human life , I question the government entity behind the decision. The same ministrty was inspecting the location on several occasions and did nothing.
The Rescue crew were concerened about the dangers and so was everyone else. I do not know of anyone who would say quit trying . There should have been rescue conferences rather than press conferences. I was not in the mall however what I could see was confined to one area ,and not the whole Mall on the verge of collapse at anytime as we were being told. I think the escalator was taken out as an act of Demolition eliminating any chance of survival for any of the victims.
